As of this writing, the rain was falling hard, and the North Coast Rivers were on the way up and looking like they would probably blow out by Tuesday morning. The Kilchis is always one of the first to come back into shape and will probably fish by mid to late week. Kilchis River winter steelhead are usually pretty late, and it’s definitely a little early, but there are probably a handful in the system.

Anglers are reminded that catch-and-release chum fishing is now closed.
