Winter steelhead fishing was good on the Siletz over the weekend with good conditions and dropping river levels. Fishing has slowed a little this week but fish are being caught everyday by both boat and bank anglers. Conditions look good for the rest of the week and the river should fish well through the weekend. There is a good mix of hatchery and wild fish being caught throughout the system.
