Hello fishermen; Well I am done fishing for the Steelhead on the upper Klamath River. Not because they are not there but moving to fish the Smith and Chetco Rivers for the bigger Steelhead. The fishing on the Klamath river should be good through the winter depends on the water. We have been having some pretty wet weather here the past few days but that is what we want to bring the fish in. The Fishing on the coast has been pretty good. All the water we got earlier has brought the Steelhead in early. Every day I fished there we caught fish. So the rest of the winter is looking to be great. Hope to see you on the river. Have a great X-mas and New Year

This has not slowed the fishing down to much. The early mornings are slow but it picks up as it gets warmer. I have been catching a lot of my Steelhead on plugs and bait. I have been using flies...... Read More
