Reservoir Level is at 16 % and Declining

Phillips Reservoir - Gaston, OR (Yamhill County)

by OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

Fishing is fairly slow with the current hot weather. However, if cooler weather develops expect the bite to return. Anglers did quite well this spring catching rainbow trout 12-18 inches and yellow perch 7-12 inches. All campgrounds and boat launches are currently open.

Reservoir level is at 16 percent and declining. The boat launch at Union Creek Campground is closed due to low water. Boaters should use the Mason Dam launch.
