The Mountain View boat ramp is not accessible except for personal water craft such as kayaks. The ramp by the dam is pretty much limited to personal water craft as well

Bank access is readily available but vehicles should not drive on unimproved roads at this time.

The reservoir is 4 percent full. The deepest portion of Howard is over near the dam, which would be your best bet for trout or bass, fished as deep as you can get
