Applegate Reservoir Fish Report for 12-9-2020
Reservoir is 1% Full
Applegate Reservoir - Jacksonville, OR (Jackson County)
by OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff
Launching at French Gulch is still not advised as mud covers the ramp with the extremely low reservoir level. Hart-Tish and Copper are both unusable due to the low water.
Fishing from the bank or with a kayak or other small personal water craft is possible. Don’t expect a crowd (or anyone to pull you out), but there are fish to be caught as 15,000 legals were stocked in July.
The reservoir is 1 percent full with an elevation of 1,866 ft. Reservoir operations, elevations and boat ramp levels can be viewed by hovering over icons on the US Army Corps Rogue Basin Teacup webpage.
