Midges and BWO's are becoming prevalent again, but some of the caddis are still hanging on. Dry flies are working during the late mornings and afternoons, and small patterns sub-surface seem to always work if they are presented correctly. Stealth and florocarbon tippets are always a good idea. The hatchery reach is still the most productive area on the river. Keep in mind that the river below the falls closed at the end of September.
