The Spring Chinook season on the west coast has finally arrived. We started fishing the Rogue River this last week and have been getting a couple opportunites every day. The fish are just starting to show up to the party and have been playing hard to get. We have been having our best success back bouncing cured salmon eggs.

Spring Chinook are one of the best tasting fish you can find in our rivers. They come into the river in the spring and don't spawn until the fall so they have an extra layer of fat that make the meat a marble treat. This prized bounty don't come easy and you really half to put in your time learning how to back bounce.

I have a few days left to book so het in touch with me if you would like spend a day out on the river.
