The Necanicum River still has a few hatchery steelhead available, but the fishery is winding down quickly. Wild steelhead should provide some catch-and-release opportunity. Boaters should use extreme caution on the Necanicum as the winter weather over the last few weeks could have brought down trees and created new boating hazards.
