Hello anglers,

Well, I have been in AK for several weeks now. I got to fish for Kings on the Kasilof River for the first three days I arrived and landed 2 to 3 a day, all wild and had to be released. ADFG closed it for the rest of June, but have reopened it on July first and the use of bait is allowed and you will be able to keep a one King. Sockeye fishing on the Kasilof River has been the best I have ever seen. Were getting limits of 3 per person everyday! Kenai closed as well for the rest of June, but opens on July first for Kings, harvest of one, no use of bait, single hook. Rainbow Trout fishing was off the hook on the Kenai but has slowed down due to a lot of pressure, it will turn on again soon. Halibut fishing has been good, limits 99.8% everyday.

I fly home August 1st and looking forward to my next season late August to the 3rd week of October on the Lower Rogue River. Here's what dates I have left for the lower Rogue River if your still interested fishing on the Rogue river this fall. September - 9,12,13,25,26,27,28 October - 8 thru 9, 18 thru 25.

Late Season
Late October and November we will be fishing for Steelhead on the Upper Rogue (fly fishing, or spin fishing) and Fall Salmon on the coast on the Chetco, Smith, Elk or Sixes river!!!!!
