Selmac will be stocked this week with another 1,000 legal-sized rainbow trout, which should make for good trout fishing this weekend. Fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and other warmwater species has been good. Look for these species to be near structure along the shore.

The Middle Rogue Steelheaders and ODFW’s Angler Education Program will host a Free Fishing Weekend event this Saturday. Rods and reels will be available for loan and bait will be provided. There will be a fishing contest for biggest live fish caught during the event, and a 50/50 raffle.
