With Trout being stocked many Bass Anglers are throwing large swim baits and hooking up with big bass occasionally. The bass fishermen catching a lot of fish, however, are fishing deep water with jigs, plastics, and live shiners. Good sized panfish and catfish are also coming out of deep water.

Trout was stocked again on 12/23/16. Trout are being caught for the first few days after the stock. Large bass are being caught on large swim baits and live shiners. Trout are due to be stocked again this week. Trout are being caught within the first few days of the stock with power bait, kastmasters, and roosted tails. Many anglers are using large trout swim baits and pulling in large bass. Live Shiners are as always an effective way to catch bass. Several large catfish were caught during the rain this week.
