Fishing for steelhead has been fair. There are fish available throughout the system and we’re seeing moderate numbers of fish caught consistently. This is a great time of year to fish the Wilson, as there are early run hatchery fish still around, as well as brood stock hatchery fish starting to show up. Float fishing jigs, beads, or bait, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
