There is another weather system coming in and the Wilson is predicted to go up to 6.86 ft, which may put it off color at least for Wednesday. If predictions are correct it should drop back into shape by Thursday or Friday and fish well through the weekend. There are fish available throughout the system and we’re seeing moderate numbers of fish caught consistently. This is a great time of year to fish the Wilson, as there are early run hatchery fish still around, as well as broodstock hatchery fish starting to show up. Bright colors and large presentation, as well as scent or bait are good bets when fishing high water.Float fishing jigs, beads, or bait, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
