Fishing was fair on the Trask last weekend, despite cold and rainy conditions, there were some nice fish caught. There are some heavy rains predicted for Wednesday, but the river should be back in shape by the end of the week and the weekend. This is mostly a wild fish river, although some hatchery strays are caught. Float fishing jigs, beads, or bait, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
