Kilchis River - Idaville, OR (Tillamook County)

The Kilchis has been slow for winter steelhead recently, mostly due to low flows. The Kilchis will remain low and clear throughout the week, so use light gear and stealthy tactics if you fish here. There are no hatchery releases in the Kilchis so this is mostly a catch-and-release fishery, although the odd hatchery stray does get caught. There should be fish throughout the system.
