Trout season closed Oct. 31.
Chinook salmon and steelhead season is open from the river mouth to Bald Mountain Creek through Dec. 31. However Chinook salmon fishing doesn’t typically pick up until we have some significant rainfall. Please see the southwest zone regulation exceptions in the ODFW Sport Fishing Regulations book for more details. Please note: there is a wild Chinook aggregate bag limit rule for Floras/New, Sixes, and Elk Rivers.
