Coquille River Basin Fishing Report

Coquille River - Coquille, OR (Coos County)

by OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

Steelhead anglers are catching hatchery steelhead in the mainstem Coquille and lower reaches of the South Fork Coquille. Rainfall predicted for later this week should bring in new steelhead, and get them moving throughout the basin.

Trout fishing in streams and rivers will reopen May 22, 2019, while lakes in the basin are open year-round. Spring stocking of Coquille area lakes will begin the last week of February and first week of March.
