Bottom fishing has been very good. Limits of Rockfish have been hitting the fillet tables, Ling cod not so much although we are getting some nice ones, but no where near limits for everyone. There have been some in season changes on the rockfish that effect us. No more retention of Cabezon, China, Quillback or Copper Rockfish as we have hit the quota of those fishes for the year. There are other species that can be retained and it doesn't appear that we are in danger of hitting those quotas.

The selective Coho Salmon season closed yesterday with a whimper rather than a roar. We did get some nice fish but no where near limits and we strained a lot of water looking for those we did get. The Non-Selective season will start this Saturday and we are looking forward too that. We don't have to look only for hatchery fish, any fish you get to the boat of legal length is yours to heat-n-eat.

The Long Leader fishery continues to be an awesome fishery, the only thing that holds us back are the offshore conditions.

We continue to have good Tuna trips when the conditions let us out there. Counts of 3-7 per person represent good catches. We are being kept inshore for a few days early this week because of wind events offshore. We are hopeful that the weather guessers get it right for later in the week.

We got notice from ODFW that Halibut is going to a two fish per day limit due to the high amount of quota left on the table. Unfortunately we have NO space available.

Make your reservation now so you don't miss out. Remember, Dockside does not overcrowd the boats, that means more room to fish of course, providing you with a premium trip. Online reservations are an option also, you can make a reservation on a space available basis even the day before the trip. Don't miss out.
