Update on 2020 Recreational Halibut Season

Due to the ongoing issues and restrictions due to COVID-19, the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission is not take up any rulemaking at their meeting today (Friday, April 17).  The 2020 recreational halibut season final dates will be adopted at a later date, and announced prior to April 30.

ODFW is working with our neighboring states and federal management partners to determine the best way to proceed with recreational halibut fisheries while dealing with the evolving COVID-19 situation.

Information/updates will be posted on the ODFW halibut webpage, and sent out via notices such as this as soon as they become available.
