Oh happy day! We got boats out fishing today on what has turned out to be a great ocean, a little rain, a little wind but very little swell. Way plenty of current though. In spite of that the boats have been doing well on both Ling Cod and Rockfish as evidenced by the picture (fresh picture of fresh fish)! We are adjusting to a new way of doing things with the social distancing and masks etc, but have got things worked out good so far. We have trips scheduled daily, call us to get your fish fix. 541-765-2545

In order to meet the Governor's criteria for Phase One re-opening we are implementing a number of new procedures/policies. Please pay close attention, these are the things that will keep us fishing. They are as follows:

ON-LINE RESERVATIONS ARE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. TO MAKE A RESERVATION CALL 541-765-2545

If anyone is symptomatic stay home, but call us and let us know.

Call the day before your trip to make sure there are no last minute changes.

Limited office access.

All trips must be PRE-PAID. Everyone needs to have their FISHING LICENSE and any required tags prior to arrival. Available at myodfw.com At this time fishing is authorized for non-residents BUT NOT CRABBING (not our idea, it was mandated by ODFW).

Limited passenger loads.

Staggered check-in times. Please arrive as close as possible to your check-in time.

Social Distancing onboard and shoreside closely monitored.

Masks required onboard and onshore, if you need to take it off, sit in your car. BRING YOUR OWN MASK.

Restricted cabin access.

No Coffee will be provided due to restricted cabin access, if you like bring your own.

Foul weather gear recommended due to restricted cabin access. (no crowding in the cabin)

We want everyone to come and enjoy fishing with us. In order for us to resume operations and keep the doors open we depend on your cooperation with all the new policies. They are not optional, they are required.

Dockside Charters has been working diligently to develop Standard Operating Procedures that will allow us to resume operations while safeguarding our clients, captains, crews and shoreside personnel. What that means is paying special attention to: social distancing, PPE, sanitation, reduced passenger loads, limited office access, eliminating bottleneck areas that cause crowding and any other issues that may impact our ability to provide the service that you have become accustom to.

We are resuming operations with the understanding that we are doing so in a safe, responsible manner.

Rockfish and Lingcod Trips Today
3-15-2020
We had our fleet out for Rockfish and Ling Cod today. Conditions offshore in the deep water weren't favorable for fishing out there today. Inshore the fishing was good, limits of Rockfish and the Ling Cod bite varied from one boat to another. The average was about one per rod while one boat limited on Ling too. Crabbing was slow, bordering on stinky. The forecast for tomorrow looks really good and we have space available including a Long Leader trip. We...... Read More
