The Halibut fishermen earned their fish today. The bite was slow most of the day but after an all day effort they came home with all of their fish. It was a mixed grade of fish.

The boats fishing the nearshore waters had a good bite of Rockfish and Ling Cod. Limits of Rockfish were the rule and well over one Ling per rod. Crabbing continues to be slow.

Due to the cancellation of the Fleet of Flowers Ceremony we will be fishing on Memorial Day (Monday).

The City of Depoe Bay has approved reopening of short term rentals (hotels/motels etc.) May 21st. Hopefully they can gear up and get back to business for the Memorial Weekend. Show your support by reserving with our local businesses. Chinook Winds Casino previously announced reopening with modified hours on the 21st.
