left the harbor in the morning with great ocean conditions only to have a few hours later heavy rain with windy conditions that made fishing a little difficult. Then the rains went away and the ocean calmed and it was nice again. This afternoon another cloud burst hit the area. Sounds like showery periods are in our forecast for the better part of next week but only one day looks a little “nautical” while the others look like good ocean weather. Most boats limited on the rockfish catch or came darn close with some Lingcod caught in a heavy current but not a great deal. Ocean crabbing sounds like again it was in the 2-4 per person range.
