The Nestucca summer steelhead run continues to pick up. Cedar Creek hatchery recycled 70 this week to give anglers another crack at them. The lower river will give anglers access to those recycled fish and any fresh fish still coming in, but we also start to see decent number holding in the upper river, around the BLM recreational area, this time of year.

Sea-run cutthroat should be available throughout the Nestucca and Little Nestucca basins.

According to the Oregon Department of Transportation Farmer Creek Wayside and boat ramp will be closed late this summer through fall of 2020 due to construction associated with the Hwy 101 realignment.
