No recent fishing reports. The Reservoir is partly on BLM property and remains open. Fishing for 12 to 14-inch largemouth bass can be good. Crappie fishing is challenging as most are suspended in deep water. Redband trout are rare in the reservoir. Water levels are low. The reservoir is turbid but not as turbid as Devils Lake or other Great Basin Reservoirs.

Best fishing for nice sized crappie is from a floating device. There is no boat ramp therefore boats need to be carried to the water. A fish finder will help with finding schools of crappie. Also, look to the willows along the dam.
