Fall River is a good option for the winter and the fish are sticking around again this year. ODFW has done a great job to keep fish in the system longer so we may enjoy them throughout the “off season”. I would expect BWO’s to show up around midday along with some midges in the morning. While waiting for the hatch I would be fishing under a bigger dry fly or tight line with some heavy tungsten nymphs. The fish seem to be pushing up a little towards the headwaters but are still mostly spread throughout the river so don't be afraid to hike a little before you start fishing. Access should be fine with a little snow but nothing too crazy.

Suggested Dries: Purple haze #18-22. Tilt WIng BWO #18-20, Thorax BWO #18-20, Winkers Midge #18-22, Nunya Midge #18-22, Black Stimi #12-14, Hackle Stacker BWO #18-22

Suggested Nymphs: Zika Jig #16-18, Twisted May #16-18, Two Bit Hooker #16-20, Zebra Midge 18-22, Juju Baetis #18-20, French Nymph #14-16, Duracell Jig #14-16.
