Nehalem River Report

Nehalem River - Nehalm, OR

by OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

Fishing has been slow on the North Fork despite decent conditions, and the hatchery run is definitely winding down. There are fish throughout the system.

Fishing was slow mainstem last week, and conditions were pretty high. It should fish this week, at least as far as water conditions. There are no hatchery releases on the mainstem, so it is a mostly wild fish river (catch and release only). There are fish throughout the system
