Steelhead fishing on the Wilson is low and clear which makes fishing challenging. Fishing has been slow recently, but there are still a few being caught and pressure has been light. There are still a few hatchery and wild steelhead (catch-and-release only for wilds) throughout the system. The Little North Fork and the South Fork of the Wilson closed to steelhead fishing on April 1.
