Spring Chinook fishing is slow to fair on the Nestucca. There are fish throughout the fishery, and last week’s rain surely brought in some more. The estuary probably slowed some as fish moved up stream, but there should still be plenty of fresh fish to come. Fishing should continue to improve throughout the month.

There should be at least a few summer steelhead in the Nestucca by now, especially after last week’s rain, but effort seems to be low.
