The pond was recently stocked with 1,650 hatchery trout. This pond is regularly stocked throughout the winter and spring. About 100 or so extra-large brood trout became available late last week and were released into Walling. As a reminder, only one fish over 20 inches is allowed as part of a five trout daily bag limit.

This is an eight-acre privately-owned pond with public access in Salem at the northeast corner of McGilchrist and 16th Streets, S.E. There is no trash service out there so please pack out what you packed in.
