Fishing will be slow unless there is a long warm spell. A large portion of the river will be covered in ice during the winter. Although the water is cold at this time of year fish will become more active throughout the day. Try slowly retrieving lures and nymphs to catch native redbands. The bag limit is 2 fish only one of which can be over 20 inches.

Check the Oregon Water Resources Near Real Time Streamflow website for current flow information.
