Howdy yall, it's Trejan on the Sunrise. Today, we had a 5 hour fishing and crabbing trip with 17 passengers. After we left the harbor a little after 6:30, we went west for 5 minutes to drop off our pots. After setting our pots, we headed north for 15 minutes until we got to our first fishing spot. On our first drift, we caught 1 fish. We then caught 1 on the second, and 3 on the third. It started out slow, but a couple drifts later, we started catching tons of fish. We caught between 15-20 fish a drift for the next few drifts. Since most of our passengers weren't feeling too good, we decided to go crabbing and to come in early.m. We ended up with a couple dozen crab, so crabbing was alright today. After crabbing, we finished up our trip by heading back into the harbor. During the trip, the wheather was amazingand the ocean was mostly flat until the final hour of the trip. Overall, it was a good day for fishing
