Hatchery rainbow trout are still available. The lake was stocked in late September with 12- to 14-inch rainbow trout. There is plenty of bank access to effectively fish from the bank. There is a nice boat ramp.

Brown trout are holding in deep water and typically eat kokanee and hatchery rainbow trout. Brown trout will begin to cruise the shallows looking for spawning habitat. They also return to the boat ramp area where they were released.

Call the USFS in Chemult for more information, 541-365-7001.The road into the lake is horrible and can damage boat trailers and boats
