Current flow is around 2,900 cfs.

Wild steelhead harvest is now closed, but the river is still open for hatchery steelhead.

Spring Chinook are starting to move through the middle Rogue. No wild harvest below Fishers Ferry until June 1. Consult Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations for open sections and bag limits.

Warm or rainy weather has brought river levels up and added some color. Plugs are likely a good bet for either Chinook or steelhead.

Trout season is closed until May 22.

Current flow, temp and turbidity conditions for the Rogue can be found at the USGS stream gauges here, or checking the City of Grants Pass water page’s river data here.
