Flows are approaching summer lows

Wallowa River - Wallowa , OR

by OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

Flows are approaching summer lows, but fishing for trout and mountain whitefish can still be good at times. Drifting flies or casting spinners are effective ways to catch trout in this river.

Remember, any steelhead, Chinook salmon and bull trout encountered while fishing for other species cannot be harvested and must be released.
