Today the Winter Lings were snapping decently with at least 1 per person with some getting their limit.  The Rockfish were a little lethargic with the cold nights we've been having drastically cooling our waters.  The super cold water often results in Rockfish Lockjaw but usually is good for the Lings so it was a little disappointing not to get all of our Lings today.  Our overnight temps are increasing for the next week bringing above freezing lows so the Rockfish bite should improve.   It usually gets much better once the fish have adjusted to the new water temps.

The next week's forecast looks solid for both weather and ocean conditions so let's go fishing!  It's fairly rare we get this kind of weather window mid winter.
