Today was a great Lingcod bite!  Many real nice ones hitting the decks.  The water cooled down from last week to 45 degrees which usually produces nice Lings.  On top of that, literally, most got there limits of Rockfish also.  We say that because usually the Rockfish are suspended over the reefs while the Lings are in the reefs.  Most of the time we are fishing for both at the same time.  They all love structure for protection and hiding to snatch even one of their own.  It was real goooood day all around!

We had friends fishing for Salmon today and haven't heard any good reports.  Not alarming as it usually takes a week or 3 for the salmon to get to us.  Now that the season's open we will know where they are as the coho almost always come to us from the south.  We will keep you updated.

The inshore forecast looks solid so lets go fishing!  The Lings are back in!
