It was a Mixed Bag fishing today on a Cold Water Ocean with Choppy Seas. Super Cold Water can make the Fish a bit Lethargic causing some Lockjaw. The wind came up unexpectedly early causing the Fishing to get a little tough for some. Those clients that worked at it with some patience did pretty well. Crabbing was great as it has been for a couple of weeks now.
The Kadaho was a few fish short of Rockfish Limits with a handful of Lingcod and 74 crab.
The Mariner got over half their Rockfish with 10 Lings without dropping pots.
The Kingfisher was the Highliner on Crab with 90 and most folks ended up with some Fish but it was a tough day. Not for the Faint of Heart.
Tommorrow is looking much friendlier with our winds settling and the water should start warming a bit with the beautiful sunshine we've been having.
