We’re happy to be back on the ocean after several days of rough weather, and both the Outer Limits and the Kadaho made the most of it today! Each boat ran a 5-hour bottom fishing and crab trip and came back with full limits of a nice variety of Rockfish.

The warmer water has slowed the Lingcod bite a bit, but a few giants still showed up — including a huge hanger Lingcod caught by 10 year old Atticus on the Outer Limits. Great job, buddy! 👏 A “hanger” or “hitchhiker” is when a Lingcod latches onto a hooked Fish and rides it all the way up — an exciting bonus catch when they make it into the boat.

Crabbing was mixed, with some pots producing well and others lighter, but still added some extra fun to the day.
