The Illinois River is open for trout and steelhead fishing using flies and lures only. Water levels should be good until forecasted rain comes in later this weekend. Consult the fishing regulations for more information and locations open to fishing. Tributaries, including East Fork and West Fork Illinois, are closed to angling
