Fishing is generally best when flows are below 3,000 cfs. Flows are currently at around 1,260 cfs at the gage in Waterloo. Fishing for summer steelhead is open year-round although there are few adults left in the basin. 2026 runs of Chinook and summer steelhead will begin to arrive in late March or April.
