NORTH FORK NEHALEM RIVER: Winter steelhead

The North Fork Nehalem is going to be low and clear this week, which may make angling challenging, but there is still opportunity for catching steelhead. A portion of the hatchery steelhead on the North Fork are from wild broodstock, and we saw several in good condition moving through the river last week. They should continue to do so through the end of March and into early April.
