Steelhead fishing has been productive in the Clackamas River, and a handful of Chinook are already being caught all the way up to Rivermill Dam. Try targeting these fish with bobber and jig methods or spinners. Early summer steelhead returns to the Willamette River have been relatively strong, suggesting good fishing prospects on the Clackamas in the weeks ahead.
