Spring Chinook should be getting started on Nestucca Bay, although there haven't been any confirmed reports of fish being caught. The Little Nestucca gets some hatchery spring Chinook back as well. Numbers of springers above tidewater will be low on both rivers early in the season.

The Nestucca also gets a run of hatchery summer steelhead, and those fish should be starting to show up as well.
