Spring Chinook is getting started on the Nestucca and Little Nestucca. The bay will probably still be the best fishing, but there should be some in the lower river as well. Fishing has been a little slow thus far, partially due to windy afternoon making the conditions in the Bay less than ideal.

The Nestucca also gets a hatchery summer steelhead run, and those fish are showing up as well. There have been reports of some decent catching in the lower river (below Three Rivers).
