Fishing for spring Chinook and steelhead has been productive in the Clackamas River, especially for anglers in the upper reaches of the river around Milo McIver State Park. This area is a great place for bank anglers to try their luck. Target these fish with bobber and jig/ or bait (sand shrimp, coonstripe shrimp, eggs) methods, spinners, spoons, or drift fishing setups. Fishing for both steelhead and Chinook should continue to be productive throughout June.
