The Rockfish are getting bigger with most folks getting their limits plus quite a few nice Cabezon in the mix. Lingcod have been a hit and miss for about a month now with us getting out of the winter spring cycle but we are still getting some keepers with lots of Fling Lings(not quite 22 inch keepers). Crabbing continues to improve as we get deeper into summer.
Salmon has slowed somewhat in the last couple of days as we wait for the next batch to come through but we have been getting an unusual amount of Kings. The Chinook Salmon haven't been as plentiful for at least 10 years which is very encouraging for our Klamath and Sacramento runs. It is great to see!
The ocean forecast looks great going into August so Quit Wishin' and Go Fishin' with us! Its easy to book online at Tradewindscharters.com and/or give us a shout at (541) 765-2345 and we'd be happy to help and answer questions.
We are getting into our busiest month of the summer so sooner you book the better as we are filling up fast.
If you would like to go fishing or whale watching with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (541) 765-2345.
