Anglers report excellent brook and rainbow trout fishing in the lower and upper lakes and improved fishing in the channel. Anglers should check water temperatures in the lower lake and move to the upper lake if surface water temperatures exceed 70°F. July is prime damselfly season at Hosmer. Electric motors only and restricted to fly-fishing only with barbless hooks. Open to fishing all year. Catch-and-release for all species.
