Anglers continue to report good trout fishing and excellent kokanee fishing at Paulina Lake

Anglers continue to report good trout fishing and excellent kokanee fishing at Paulina Lake. Chironomids remain important in deeper water, while beetles and other terrestrials continue to be a productive choice near shorelines. Kokanee at Paulina Lake is amongst the largest in Central Oregon this year averaging 13-14 inches. Open to fishing all year.
