River level @Vida 2.45ft.?? 4,460 cfs. water temp 46.6 degrees.?? Fishing has been?? pretty decent in the lower river below Leaburg Dam down to Armitage.???????? McKenzie Caddis, Brown Caddis, Pale Morning Duns and some Golden Stones.?? Nymph fishing has being pretty good using a BH Fox Squirrel nymph or a Golden Stone nymph with a BH Flashback Pheasant Tail nymph as the dropper fly.?? Dry fly action has been sporadic on sunny days and good on cloudy days.

Steelhead will start showing this month.?? The steelhead counts over the falls this year are running about the same as last year at this time.

The big bugs are out in big numbers in the Maupin area.?? This weekend through all of next week should be epic (hopefully).?? Fish are taking Norm Wood Specials, Clark Stones, Rogue Giants and Sofa Pillows.???? There is some?? Pale Morning Dun activity mid-day, and some caddis activity in the evenings.??
